WE ARE

haunt logo

haunt was founded with a mission to provide an exceptional slow travel experience which combines the comforts of luxury living with an effortless yet curated approach. We believe that travel should feel enriching and lived-in, without any sense of intimidation.

Our focus is capturing the essence of each destination and immersing our travelers in its spirit. At haunt we encourage our clients to embrace a gentler pace, savor every detail, and make the most of their travel journeys.

Inspired by Virginia Woolf's literary essay, "Street Haunting" wherein the author recounts the pleasures of leaving her home to take in the happenings of her city, we sought to create a new way to travel: the art of "haunting".

haunt offers bespoke travel planning services, curated artist guides, small group tours, and wellness retreats to the curious and indulgent traveller.

The founder of haunt, Corinne Hamilton

Corinne Hamilton, a conceptual artist, poet, and passionate traveler, delved into the realm of unconventional connections in her early 20s, granting her agency and the financial prowess to embark on several global journeys. As a free spirit and bon vivant, she cultivated a profound appreciation for travel and cultural diversity, with a particular focus on classically romantic aesthetics. Over the past decade, Corinne has skillfully built a vast network and wielded influence in New York City and Los Angeles, working with artists and personalities such as Amanda Lepore, Nadia Lee Cohen, and Steven Klein.

Corinne’s poetry has been featured in publications such as Not Ready For River Styx, a poetry anthology, and Petit Mort Magazine. In 2023, Corinne marked her formal gallery debut with a captivating performance of Sleeping Hermaphroditus, a recreation of the infamous statue of the same name, showcased at ILY2 in Portland, Oregon under the curation of Jeanine Jablonski.

Renowned for her ability to unite people and enrich communities, Corinne has orchestrated monthly arthouse film clubs, writers' salons, and lavish soirées in her home. Her deliberate approach extends beyond local gatherings, encompassing curated environments that invite participation and reflect her discerning tastes in hidden gems worldwide through her newest enterprise haunt Travel.

“haunt is a reprieve from the oversaturated tourism market; it's about slowing down. It’s about finding home in new places.”
